Spectrum has an opportunity for a civilian Podiatry Technician at the Family Health Center in Dumfries, VA. We provide out-patient clinic services for enlisted and retired military personnel in association with Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital.Great schedule!Monday-Friday 0700-1530Position Overview: Assists the certified practitioners in the fulfillment of consults to fit various orthotic soft-good devices, casting, and assists in various clinical and administrative procedures.Essential Functions:Serves as Podiatry Technician of the Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Podiatry Clinic.Greets and checks patients in and provides instruction and information on scheduled procedures.Maintain safe and clean working environment. Ensure supply area is kept stocked and clutter-free.Responsible for the purchase requisitions/restocking, receipts, issue, and inventory of medical and non-medical supplies Act as liaison between patients and the primary professional medical care provider.Assist health care provider to examine or treat patientTake and record vital signs, medical histories and order radiologic examsReady to make a difference?
