Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00-14:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Good critical thinking skills Excellent documentation Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area Excellent communication skills with interdepartmental teams Description: Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in the specialty of Cardiovascular Surgery. This position involves caring for patients in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have critical care experience. Experience in PreOp is a plus. The ability to perform advanced procedures such as large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, and medication administration is essential. Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement. Transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction/intubation and positioning. Must demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and high-quality clinical care. Team-based support is available from clinical coordinators, secretaries, and management.
