Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and IEP development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and their families
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred to special education
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective interventions
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Facilitate crisis intervention and behavior support planning when necessary
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Consult and collaborate with school staff on best practices for supporting student well-being and success
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed on current practices
This contract does not involve virtual or remote (voco) work; in-person presence on campus is expected. The position involves a well-rounded K-12 caseload, offering variety and the chance to work with students across multiple grade levels.
