Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE)Required Skills & Experience: BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and active PE license. 8+ years of mechanical design experience supporting commercial and/or industrial facilities. Revit expertise required. Strong background in HVAC, piping, utility systems, and equipment design. Experience with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project teams. Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, and applicable mechanical codes. Proven project leadership and mentoring experience. Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize mechanical systems. Ability to travel up to 25%.Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with industrial, manufacturing, food & beverage, mission-critical, distribution, or commercial projects. Exposure to controls/automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs). Energy modeling, commissioning, and FEL/FEED experience. Client-facing experience including business development, proposals, and account growth. AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience.Job Description: Lead the design of HVAC, piping, utility, and facility infrastructure systems. Serve as a technical lead and SME on complex projects. Perform calculations, equipment selection, system sizing, and engineering documentation. Support project planning, client meetings, design reviews, and commissioning efforts. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across all project phases. Mentor junior engineers and support business development initiatives. Drive system optimization, operational efficiency, and project execution from concept through commissioning.
