Join our team as a CDL A Spotter and play a key role in supporting yard operations by safely moving trailers in and out of dock doors. This position involves hauling automotive parts in a fast-paced distribution environment with non-touch freight and no unloading required.

Job Duties

• Move trailers in and out of dock doors safely and efficiently
• Perform trailer spotting and yard hostler duties
• Coordinate trailer movements with warehouse and dock personnel
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all company safety procedures and yard traffic rules

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• Experience maneuvering trailers in a busy yard environment

What You Will Do


As a CDL A Spotter you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.


A CDL A Spotter is responsible for operating vehicles safely while helping organizations transport products efficiently and reliably. The position requires strong driving ability, personal responsibility, and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
