Now Hiring: IT Tier II Technician

In this role, you'll provide advanced technical support for resort systems, guest-facing technology, end-user devices, and audio/visual equipment while troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues. You'll collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Security teams to implement system upgrades, maintain technology environments, and ensure reliable day-to-day operations across the resort. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, support multiple business functions, and occasionally travel to other Kalahari locations.

This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business operations to effectively triage and resolve technical issues
• Leverage prior IT experience to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and application problems
• Collaborate with infrastructure and IT Security teams to install, configure, and test system upgrades, patches, and new versions
• Participate in a team-based on-call rotation to support critical systems outside of standard business hours
• Provide flexible on-site support, including occasional evenings, weekends, and off-hours as needed
• Travel occasionally to other resort locations to support IT operations and initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• We do require that you have a background, consisting of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong technical IT background with experience supporting hospitality, restaurant, gaming, retail, or entertainment technologies, including POS systems, property management systems, kiosks, tablets, payments, and other business-critical applications.
• Experience collaborating with business teams to gather requirements, support solution design and implementation, and maintain application environments across Windows, Linux, databases, integrations, and reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of IT operations and support best practices, including incident, problems, and change management, vendor coordination, system documentation, security compliance, and production support.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset, the ability to support guests and operational teams, and a collaborative approach to working across departments and assisting teammates as needed.
