Health Law Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced health law associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their team in Kansas City, MO. This position involves defending complex medical malpractice, correctional medicine, and long-term care litigation. Duties Handle all aspects of cases from responsive pleadings to discovery and depositions. Strategize and evaluate cases under supervision. Collaborate with expert witnesses. Negotiate cases and prepare for mediations. Prepare for trial and attend mediations. Communicate with clients and other counsel. Requirements 2-4 years of experience in health law or related fields. Strong communication and reporting skills. Ability to manage day-to-day case activities efficiently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri. Skills Proficiency in legal research and writing. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
