Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)

Position Overview The Certified Assisted Living Associate (HHA) provides care and support to Assisted Living and Assisted Living Memory Care residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety. The role includes direct patient care, emotional support, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to maintain a positive environment for residents. Key Responsibilities Assists residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Additionally, assists with medication reminders and ensures residents follow prescribed health plans. Monitors and documents vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) as directed by supervising nursing staff. Provides companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting a positive and nurturing environment. Assists residents during mealtimes, including serving food and ensuring dietary needs are met. Helps with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and safety protocols. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment in residents’ rooms and common areas. Complies with facility policies, state regulations, and safety guidelines to provide the highest standard of care.
