Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Somers Point, NJ, outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, provide hands-on and therapeutic interventions, document care, and support student learning as assigned. The role emphasizes safe patient handling, compliance with professional standards, and contribution to performance improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New Jersey state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred. Must be able to perform 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to complete timely, accurate clinical documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, and letters of medical necessity.
• Ability to follow physician orders, insurance requirements, and clinic policies.
• Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with safe patient handling techniques and materials handling protocols preferred.

Assignment Details

• Schedule format: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week).
• Orthopedic outpatient caseload with 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate a 40-hour work week.
