Sr Business Program Manager - T&S Engineering Programs

Primary Purpose Develop, manage, and evaluate key projects/programs/initiatives from planning to post‑implementation. Create business plans, charters, and performance metrics to support objectives. Ensure organizational alignment and integrate best practices. Perform financial and operational reporting, data analysis, and modeling. Coordinate quality assurance and change management activities. Extended hours may be required during emergencies. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and business initiatives. Provide requirements analysis, performance measurement, and quality assurance. Manage scope, schedule, and budget (20%). Coordinate and report on assignments. Develop performance indicators and tracking mechanisms. Prepare, review, and analyze financial and operational reports (20%). Coordinate corrective actions from performance assessments (10%). Support business plans and objectives across multiple areas; coordinate with stakeholders on business cases and prioritization (10%). Lead change management activities. Develop training and readiness procedures (10%). Participate in process improvement task forces. Provide benchmarking analysis and status reports (10%). Provide day‑to‑day client support, diagnostics, and advice on inquiries (20%). Job Scope Individual contributor; independent work with general direction. Mentor less experienced colleagues. Direct and indirect reporting: none. Financial scope: Direct impact on operational costs, reliability indices, and customer satisfaction; manage budget within approved parameters. Public image: Maintain company’s reputation with customers, regulators, and shareholders. Contacts: Interface across Exelon, Customer Operations, IT, Regional Operations, Distribution Operations, Transmission Operations, Corporate Security, Communications, Regulatory, and Legal. Lead cross‑functional and cross‑company teams; support business planning and performance metrics. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or STEM with 4–7 years of related experience, or 6–9 years of experience without a degree. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant functional area (e.g., electric or gas operations). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized business applications (project portfolio management, CRM, outage management). Strong business acumen, problem‑solving, analytical/financial, negotiation, and conflict‑management skills. Ability to build consensus, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks. Customer‑driven; excellent written and oral communication. Experience developing and implementing process enhancements and efficiencies. Preferred Qualifications MBA or master’s in business or STEM. Experience in Transmission & Substation Engineering, Design, Work Management or Construction. Knowledge of project‑management practices and ability to analyze complex processes. Certification: CAPM, PMP, or Six Sigma Black Belt. Strong analytical skills for project evaluation and business‑case development. Benefits Annual salary: $88,800 – $122,100 per year.
