Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Server:

• Serve prepared food portions to associates as they move through the cafeteria line

• Greet associates and provide courteous, professional service

• Maintain proper food-handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards

• Keep the serving area clean, stocked, and organized

• Monitor food levels and notify kitchen staff when items need to be replenished

• Answer basic questions about menu items and assist associates as needed

• Follow college food-service procedures and safety guidelines

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Friendly and professional customer-service skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with associates and coworkers

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

• Ability to stand for extended periods while serving food

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cafeteria environment

• Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling practices

• Ability to maintain a clean and organized serving area

• Ability to follow instructions, workplace procedures, and safety guidelines

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Previous food-service, cafeteria, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required

• Background check required
