Quality Control Technician 

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our client's growing team at their Fort Myers, Florida Headquarters. This role is critical to ensuring that products and systems produced by our Client's Company meet established quality standards and customer specifications. The Quality Control Technician will conduct inspections, tests, and analyses to identify any issues in the production process and ensure the highest level of product quality.
Hours: Mon - Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm
Pay rate: $17/hr.
Location: Fort Myers, FL

Quality Control Technician Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and quality checks on mechanical, controls and assembled systems to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
- Conduct tests to evaluate product functionality, durability, and overall performance.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests, reporting any defects or deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to company quality assurance guidelines, standards, and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
- Support root cause analysis of product failures and collaborate with the engineering team to improve product quality.
- Ensure that all documentation and records related to quality control activities are accurately maintained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment that complies with safety protocols.

Quality Control Technician Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and assembly processes.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Control Panels and familiar with the UL-508A Standard.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Experience using testing and inspection tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in identifying and reporting product defects.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ISO 9001 standards or other quality management systems.
- Vocational or technical training in quality control, or a related field.
- Experience in the fuel management, hydraulics, or plumbing industries.
