If you are unable to complete this application due to a disability, contact this employer to ask for an accommodation or an alternative application process. 2nd Shift: Quality Production Technician Full Time Lebanon, TN, US Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Hourly Ensure product quality and grade accuracy by performing physical assays, running spectrometric analysis, and applying statistical process controls to verify that sorted aluminum meets specification. Key Responsibilities Pull physical assays by weight and piece count. Operate the spectrometer to verify alloy chemistry (training provided if not already proficient). Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles to monitor and evaluate production quality. Calculate and track general process capability (Cpk) metrics. Monitor and report PPM (parts per million) quality/defect levels. Maintain accurate records and flag off-spec material. Requirements Excellent punctuality and disciplined attendance. Strong attention to detail. Ability to run or be trained on a spectrometer. Working knowledge of SPC principles, Cpk, and PPM (or willingness to learn). Work Environment & Physical Demands Work environment varies between brief outdoor exposure to weather conditions and the interior sorting facility, including dust and ambient conditions.
