About the Role

Express Employment of Columbia, MO is seeking a skilled professional to keep materials moving smoothly in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

A Day in the Driver’s Seat

Start your shift with a quick walkthrough and equipment check. You’ll navigate the warehouse on a forklift, relocating pallets and product with precision, teaming up with colleagues to meet production goals, and keeping work areas tidy. Throughout the day, you’ll follow established safety practices and OSHA regulations, and promptly report any equipment issues you notice.

Core Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to safely and efficiently move materials and products
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions
Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
Other tasks as assigned

What You’ll Need

1+ year of experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role
Valid forklift certification or license
Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
