Per diem employment available for all shifts: days, evenings, or nights. Only requirement is one weekend a month! Pick up as many or as little shifts as you would like.

The licensed nursing assistant (LNA) works under the direction of licensed/registered nurses to provide care and improve patients' quality of life.

Position highlights

• Assist patients with or perform activities of daily living (ADL).
• Report changes in patient's condition, patient/family concerns or complaints to charge nurse and/or supervisor.
• Participate in the care planning process and provide care according to care plan.
• Answer call light or bell promptly, delivers messages, cleans areas of spillage or accidents.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law, and factors such as pay classification (full-time, part-time, or casual), job grade, location, and length of service.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program. A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred. Must have a basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn. Must attend a minimum of 12 hours continuing education programs provided by the nursing center in order to maintain certification.
