Registered Dental Hygienist

Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Dental Hygienist role is based in Greece, NY. The hygienist will provide comprehensive preventive dental services, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, and non-surgical periodontal therapy, while supporting a safe and comfortable experience for patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient screenings, taking and reviewing dental radiographs, providing individualized oral hygiene instruction, and documenting findings in patient records accurately. The role also involves collaborating closely with dentists and orthodontists on treatment planning, reinforcing home care recommendations, and maintaining strict infection control and sterilization protocols. The hygienist will contribute to a positive team environment, assist with patient flow, and support practice initiatives that enhance quality of care and patient satisfaction. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Dentistry and comprehensive Dental Care, with the ability to support orthodontic and pediatric treatment needs. Demonstrated expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, including routine cleanings and preventive care for diverse age groups. Experience assessing and managing Periodontal Disease, and ongoing maintenance. Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in New York and current CPR/BLS certification. Commitment to infection control standards, patient safety, and ethical clinical practice. Clear, empathetic communication skills and the ability to educate patients and caregivers on oral health practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment, with strong time management and attention to detail.
