Vice President, Pharmaceutical & Process Development
Stoke Therapeutics
Stoke Therapeutics seeks a Vice President to lead pharmaceutical and process development strategy for antisense oligonucleotide therapeutics. This executive will oversee multidisciplinary R&D teams, advance platform innovation in nucleic acid chemistry and delivery, and translate scientific breakthroughs into clinical candidates.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic roadmap for oligonucleotide therapeutics spanning chemistry, process, analytics, and formulation
- Advance platform innovation to broaden reach and therapeutic impact of gene regulation approaches
- Build and lead multidisciplinary teams in nucleic acid chemistry, delivery systems, and analytical characterization
- Evaluate and integrate novel technologies to extend platform capabilities across disease-relevant tissues
- Partner with R&D and program leadership to shape early-stage therapeutic concepts and technology decisions
Requirements
- Deep expertise in oligonucleotide chemistry, process development, and analytical sciences
- Senior leadership experience building and scaling high-performing scientific organizations
- Fluency across ASO, siRNA, and PMO technologies with formulation and delivery knowledge
- Executive presence and strategic capability to drive enterprise-level technical roadmaps
- Track record translating platform innovations into therapeutic candidates and competitive differentiation
