Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this school-based role, you'll work closely with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality speech and language services, making a meaningful difference in young learners’ lives. This assignment is based at a single elementary location, allowing you to build strong relationships with students, educators, and families throughout the academic year, from August 2026 to May 2027. With a manageable, elementary-aged caseload, you’ll have the chance to utilize and expand your clinical skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Open to candidates with teletherapy, SLP-CFY, or traditional in-person school experience
  • Familiarity with assessment, treatment planning, and IEP documentation for elementary-aged children
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for fostering student growth and engagement in communication skills

Daily Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address student goals
  • Work on-site five days a week (37.5 hours/week) to ensure consistency and support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team collaborations
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Provide support and education to teaching staff and families
  • Adapt service delivery for in-person and potential teletherapy formats
