Job Description Role SummaryLocation: Raleigh or Gastonia, NC The Manager, Manufacturing Sales – Industrial OE Americas leads the development and execution of sales, pricing, and growth strategies for assigned customers and markets while managing and developing the sales team. This role serves as a key customer contact and is responsible for achieving sales goals, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends, and maintaining strong strategic customer relationships.#LI-OnsiteMain TasksDevelop and implement the sales strategies and identify new business opportunities for the defined customersor market(s)Lead, direct, develop, and coordinate a sales team and ensure that the team members follow the developedstrategiesSteer the strategic and operational planning processes as well as the target agreements with the respectivelocal sales forceReview and monitor the existing customer contacts on a regular basisDevelop and implement the pricing strategies for the defined customers and/or market(s)Maintain positive and strategic business relationships with the assigned customers and/or market(s)Review and monitor the sales performance periodically to ensure that the long-term goals are metConduct the contract negotiations with customers in cooperation with the Director of IndustrialMonitor accounts receivables for the assigned customers and solve issues/define countermeasures in case ofdeviationsPlan, implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibilityInitiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviationsMonitor the market and industry trends, define the market prices, and initiate target costing in the projects toensure MANN+HUMMEL competitiveness Observe and analyze the competitor's situation and market trendsAct as a main point of contact for the local colleagues within a region, coordinate the project activities, buildup/support the teams within a region, and support networkingForecast the customer/market trends for forward planningGuide, motivate and develop the directly and indirectly subordinate employees within the HR policyEnsure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directedYour ProfileEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience Experience:5 years' minimum relevant experience in one or more Industrial Manufacturing industries2 years' minimum team leadership experienceRequired Skills:Customer orientation, organization and coordination skillsSelf-initiative and the ability to work well under pressureExcellent verbal, written, and English presentation and communication skillsRelevant IT tools (MS Office, etc.)OE Sales Management experienceFinancially drivenGeneral contract negotiation experiencePreferred Experience:Experience with compressors, machine tooling, and/or heavy-duty equipment manufacturing is strongly preferredAre you full of ideas?
