The Leggett & Platt Flooring division, located in Statesville, NC is searching for a Crane Operator to join our Production team in the manufacture of Carpet Underlay. As a Crane Operator, your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring your team produces quality product for our valued customers. The team you will be working with is diverse and hardworking, and values honesty and willingness to learn. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:00 p.m. 6:00 a.m., and Saturday's as needed. So, what will you be doing as a Crane Operator?

• Operating a crane to fill hoppers
• Ensuring that hoppers are filled to keep production running
• Ensure correct product is loaded into the correct hopper
• Follow job instructions and control plans during your workday
• Follow all facility safety protocols

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Able to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate within given timelines
• Multi-tasking ability
• Ability to lift, bend, rotate, and stand throughout your shift

Things we consider a plus:

• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
• Previous experience operating a crane
