Rally Strategies is looking for an outgoing and motivated individual to join our Kansas City team as an Event Sales Intern. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to build practical experience in event marketing, customer engagement, and face-to-face sales.

Working across live events, retail activations, and promotional campaigns, you’ll represent client brands directly to customers while developing valuable communication, relationship-building, and sales skills. Whether your background is in retail, hospitality, customer service, sports, or another people-focused environment, this role offers an opportunity to apply transferable skills in a professional, energetic setting.

No previous sales experience is required, as full training and ongoing mentorship are provided. We’re more interested in individuals who bring confidence, a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn. Candidates who naturally enjoy customer interaction, teamwork, and working toward goals tend to do particularly well in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers face-to-face during live promotional events and retail campaigns
• Represent client brands professionally and create positive customer experiences
• Deliver product information clearly and confidently while answering customer questions
• Support customer acquisition and event-based sales initiatives
• Assist with event setup, branding displays, and overall campaign coordination
• Work collaboratively with team members in a high-energy, team-oriented environment
• Track customer engagement and provide feedback from live campaigns

Successful candidates are typically confident communicators who are comfortable in public-facing environments and enjoy building rapport with people from different backgrounds. Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail sales, events, promotions, or team-based environments can be highly transferable, though not essential.
