Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care | Silver City, New Mexico, United States
Travel temporary assignment starting 08/10/2026 for an approximate 11-week contract. Weekly pay range: $824-$867 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift pattern: 3x12-hour day shifts (06:00–18:30). Setting: LTC – Nursing Home. This opening is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the licensed clinician and document administration accurately
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, assess conditions, and report changes promptly
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain dignity and comfort
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to update care plans and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation in the facility’s health record system
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety policies, and regulatory requirements

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico (or eligible for NM licensure)
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification (as required by state and facility standards)
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to perform duties in a geriatric care environment and work a 3x12-hour shift pattern
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
