Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date: September 21, 2026 Location: Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call; float within facility/scope of practice as needed Highlights: 43-bed Emergency Department serving all age groups including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department experience with trauma capabilities Epic EMR system required – must have prior experience First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of ED experience Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, and Physical Therapy Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years Emergency Department nursing experience Epic charting system experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC, ENCP, CPI, NIHSS, FHM preferred Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience preferred Experience with patient ratio of 4:1 Proficiency in central line management, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, triage, and care of ventilated patients Must complete all compliance requirements by Tuesday prior to start date Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Emergency Department position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, multi-generational care environment with comprehensive support services and a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
