Seamstress/Tailor

Overview This position is responsible for keeping costumes, character costumes, and other cloth applications in good repair. Also responsible for providing superior guest service while enforcing all park policies and procedures. This is a part‑time role that will average 29 hours a week or less, and has a pay range between $15‑$17 per hour. Responsibilities Perform general repair and alteration of costumes Operate sewing equipment. Preferred knowledge of serger, industrial machines & other tools to assist in maintenance of costumes Assist in laundry of costumes Construct special costumes and/or other projects when assigned Maintain the structural integrity and design of the licensed character so that the appearance is not distorted Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members Qualifications Has a general knowledge of clothing construction, alterations, and repair Previous theatrical costume experience helpful Must be 18 years or older Self‑motivated to work independently, without direct supervision Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, mornings, nights, and holidays Must be able to communicate and effectively work with others Valid driver’s license and clean driving record helpful in fulfilling errands and supply orders Must have the ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language Work independently with little supervision Cedar Fair Entertainment Company is an equal opportunity employer.
