Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history discussions
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab data
• Collaboratively work with surgeons to formulate and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical areas, positioning patients correctly, and managing surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, focusing on medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferable completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical settings

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
