Job Description
The Workplace Experience Ambassador ensures that building spaces are set up, maintained, and operated to provide an excellent experience for all occupants and visitors. This role interacts with a wide variety of teams and requires consistently high levels of customer service, hospitality, and administrative support, primarily in a front-of-house environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine operational tasks to ensure consistent daily service delivery across the site.
- Support facilities-related requests as needed, coordinating with the broader workplace and facilities teams.
- Restock supplies including pantry items, beverages, copier stations, and general office materials to ensure availability throughout the day.
- Support conference room furniture setup when required and reset rooms to prepare meeting and conference spaces for upcoming use.
- Submit work orders and communicate maintenance, cleaning, or technical issues to the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
- Provide supplemental support to the mailroom or workplace team during low-traffic periods.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of assigned floors to confirm that workplace areas are stocked, orderly, and aligned with service standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all internal and external visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
- Manage front-of-house services, including reception duties, and appropriately direct incoming queries and visitors.
- Identify areas requiring attention, anticipate needs, and escalate issues to the facilities management team when appropriate.
- Participate in job sharing with other team members, predominantly at the front desk, to maintain consistent coverage.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support a high-quality workplace experience.
Essential Skills
- Customer service experience with strong hospitality orientation.
- Reception, concierge, or front-of-house experience
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability and confidence to communicate with customers at all levels, both in writing and verbally.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide a welcoming, professional presence.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Self-motivated with a confident and energetic attitude.
- Ability to work effectively with other team members and act as an ambassador for the workplace experience team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized approach to daily tasks.
- PC literacy with the ability to manage daily activities using various software platforms.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, with the option to request assistance for items over 25 lbs.
- Reliability, strong team orientation, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced or high-traffic environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Hospitality experience; no specific years of experience required.
- Experience in administrative support, receptionist, or concierge roles.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and proactively address workplace issues.
- Comfort working in a customer-facing role with frequent interaction across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining service standards.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is based at a facility that provides free parking for employees. The work environment is front-of-house focused, with regular interaction with visitors and internal teams, and may include periods of high traffic and fast-paced activity. The role involves walking assigned floors, restocking supplies, supporting conference room setups, and occasionally assisting with mailroom or other workplace tasks. The position is offered as a contract through the end of the year, and the setting emphasizes a professional, service-oriented atmosphere.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
