Contract | Days | Onsite | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks (3x12 or 4x12 shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM); straight 48-hour schedules may also be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Room environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely, evidence-based treatment
• Complete accurate and thorough clinical documentation using Cerner (preferred)
• Fulfill expected schedule requirements, including 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per contract and holiday coverage as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in the specialty
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• ENPC certification required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
