Responsibilities
- Perform basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients as ordered by the physician and per department policies.
- Administer prescribed therapies, monitor patient responses, and adjust care within scope of practice.
- Manage documentation for each patient in the electronic medical record, including flow sheets and charge entries.
- Exercise professional judgment to work with or without supervision as delegated, contributing to patient safety and care quality.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team to implement and adjust treatment plans.

Requirements
- Active respiratory therapist license valid in California (state requirements to practice).
- Certification as a respiratory therapist; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
- Experience delivering respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, documentation, and charge capture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative inpatient setting and adapt to supervision levels as needed.
