This is a Polysomnographic Technologist II need
The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Administrative Director, and Medical Director, or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. The Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide supervision of other staff.

This is a small community hospital (it is not a pediatric intensive care unit). The census is 3. There is not a second nurse scheduled for the unit. The maximum number of patients is 3. There is backup from Family Birthplace staff, and travelers have a security badge with a panic button to get immediate help. There are also respiratory and IV therapists that can cover the unit.


Our experienced Pediatric nurses understand the unique needs of children and adolescents, and the importance of family involvement in their care. We provide "rooming in" for parents who wish to remain with their child during the hospital stay. To help make the visit more pleasant, we have on hand a variety of "in room" games and videos, as well as a play room for those with no contagious illness.

5+ years current experience
High school diploma or GED required
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
