Job Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for the budget, SOX, IT operations and IT staff in North America for the Paxiom segment. This is a North America position where you are responsible for 2 IT staff, 5 factories and 3 ERPs. This position serves as the liaison between Corporate IT and the business units within Paxiom. As the IT manager, you are responsible for working on segment-wide standards, managing the IT budget and improving Ebit by finding real cost savings.

1. Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)

• Ensure ongoingSOX complianceacross all IT systems and processes.

• OverseeIT audits(internal and external), including evidence collection and remediation tracking.

• Maintain and updateIT policies and proceduresaligned with global regulatory requirements.

• Manageaccess controls, segregation of duties, and change management processes.

• Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance withdata privacy laws(e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

• Develop and execute aPaxiom IT strategyaligned with business goals.

• Leaddigital transformation initiativesacross manufacturing plants.

• Manageg IT budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization.

• Build and maintain ahigh-performing IT team.

• Represent IT inleadership meetingsand strategic planning sessions.

1. Infrastructure & Operations

• Work with corporate IT fornetwork architecture, data centers, and cloud infrastructure.

• Ensurehigh availability and disaster recoveryplans are in place and tested.

• Standardize and optimizeIT service management in Jira(e.g., ITIL practices).

• Monitor and improvesystem performance, uptime, and scalability.

• Manageglobal vendor relationshipsand service-level agreements (SLAs).

1. Cybersecurity

• Enforcecybersecurity strategy and incident response planning.

• Ensuresecurity awareness trainingfor all employees globally.

• Escalation point for cybersecurity events

• Respond to and reportsecurity incidentsin compliance with SOX and other regulations.

1. Applications & Data Management

• Overseeenterprise applications(ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.) and their integration.

• Ensuredata governance, quality, and lifecycle management.

• Supportbusiness intelligence and analyticsinitiatives.

• Managesoftware development and deployment pipelines, ensuring secure and compliant releases.

• Align application portfolios withbusiness needs and global scalability.

1. Communication & Collaboration

• Fostercross-functional collaborationbetween IT and other departments.

• Ensure global teams have access tocollaboration tools(e.g., Teams, SharePoint).

• Supportremote work infrastructureand policies.

• Communicate IT strategy, risks, and performance to stakeholders.

1. Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Evaluate and implementemerging technologies(AI, IoT, blockchain) where applicable.

• Promote a culture ofinnovation and continuous improvement.

• Leadpilot programsand proof-of-concept initiatives globally.

Education:

A post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, business intelligence or equivalent.

Experience and Skills:

• Working with CRMs, Zoho

• Working with ERPs, Syspro,

• Working with Engineering tools, CAD, SolidWorks

• Managing distributed teams

• Very strong interpersonal skills

• Experience working with large data and creating reports

• Working in a Sox environment
