Job Details Position: Acute Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services Location: Johnstown, PA 15905 Start Date: 9/6/2026 End Date: 12/6/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Shift: Varied day shifts with coverage needs including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, and 3-11 Call: One to two times per week in 8-hour increments Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend or as needed Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week EHR: EPIC Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania Current ACLS, BLS, and CPI/HWC certifications 3 years of nursing experience Operating room nurse or surgical services experience preferred Ability to work varied shifts, on-call rotations, and weekend coverage Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Preferred experience: charge nurse responsibilities, Level I trauma, and robotic surgery Ability to complete required clearances and screenings prior to start Responsibilities Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical services setting Support a broad range of cases, including orthopedics, gynecology, OB, plastics, general surgery, cardiovascular, neuro, urology, breast, and podiatry Deliver safe, attentive patient care to patients of all ages Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the care team to ensure smooth patient flow Respond to call assignments and weekend coverage as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC electronic health record system Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and a positive team environment Apply now to join a respected Pennsylvania healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Johnstown, PA.
