The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join a highly reputable Legal 500 law firm on the outskirts of Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent job opportunity suitable for those commuting from Altrincham, Wilmslow, Ashton-under-Lyne and Stockport. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Corporate Lawyer will be managing a caseload of matters including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Joint Ventures
- MBOs and MBIs
- Share and asset sales
- Employee share schemes
- Profit sharing
- Business structures and reorganisations
- Shareholder agreements
- Private equity investments
- Banking and finance
You will also take part in business development and marketing activities including networking and nurturing your contacts and referrers.
Person Specification
Applications are sought from Corporate Lawyers with a minimum of 5 years' experience handling a varied caseload of corporate matters as mentioned above.
To be considered for this job role you will also be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills
- Collaborative, working well with a team demonstrating leadership as required
- Keen eye for detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

About the Company
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join an award-winning law firm with offices across the county of Cheshire. You will be working with recognised and experienced lawyers within the department and the firm as a whole.
My client is a highly reputable firm that provides outstanding legal advice to their extensive and loyal client base across the North West. They also have excellent relationships with referrers and the other departments within the firm, mainly from the Private Client and Commercial Property teams.
