Job Description
Job Title: SAP HANA Modeler
Job Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Length: Full Time / Permanent Position
Required Skills:
- At least 2 projects in SAP HANA (2 years minimum)
- 3-5 years in SAP BW, BO, other ETL combined with minimum 3 years in BW and BO.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understanding the business requirements & convert them into blueprint
- Define the design documents for the HANA models
- Essential configurations for SAP ECC accelerations using SAP HANA
- Translating functional specifications into technical specifications
- Translate the business KPIs into HANA & define the reporting layouts
- Translate the business KPIs for dashboards & define the dashboard layouts
- Defining the metadata import process
- Identify attribute & measures, hierarchies
- Creation of package
- Design & creation of HANA attribute views
- Design & creation of HANA analytic views
- Design & creation of HANA calculation views
- Managing attribute mapping
- Creation of constant columns
- Creation of analytics privileges
- Creating function using SQL the function editor
- Creating calculated attributes
- Using currency as unit of measure
- Activating impacted objects
- Validating information models
- Comparing object versions
- Checking model references
- Displaying audit trails of information models
- Export/import of models
- Managing modeling content
- Setting up the information modeler
- Configuring data services for metadata import
- Configuring the information modeler
- Creating schemas
- Manage schema mapping
- Gather the business requirements
- Translate the business requirements into KPIs
- Defining the business blueprint
- Creation of functional specifications
- Design the information models for HANA
- Validation of data in the reports
- Conducting UAT sessions with the business
- Functional walkthrough
- Report unit testing
- Report layout validations
- Validation of data in the reports vs ECC
- Integration testing
- System testing
- Presenting the business value of the report to the users
