Financial Additions is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a REMOTE contract position that is expected to last 2-4 months. This role will be responsible for reviewing provider timesheets and expense reimbursements, researching discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely client billing.
Responsibilities:
- Review twice-monthly provider timesheets and expense reports against contracts and schedules; research discrepancies and make necessary corrections.
- Serve as a point of contact for provider questions regarding submissions and billing requirements.
- Prepare and distribute client invoices for provider time, expenses, and travel once approved.
- Reconcile provider travel expenses charged to the company credit card and ensure all billable expenses are accurately invoiced.
- Assist with other billing and accounting-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in accounting position that included billing and payroll responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable reviewing contracts, schedules, and financial information and investigating discrepancies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in billing, accounting, payroll required.
- Experience in healthcare staffing a plus.
- Degree preferred, but will consider Accountant with strong experience and some college.
