We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our Columbus team in a hybrid capacity. You will lead tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and serve as a primary contact for a diverse portfolio of clients. Key ResponsibilitiesEngagement Leadership: Lead and manage tax compliance engagements for corporations (C-Corp, S-Corp), partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.Review & Preparation: Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax legislation.Tax Planning: Research and develop strategic tax planning techniques and projections to optimize client financial positions.Team Mentorship: Supervise, train, and provide technical guidance to staff associates and interns.Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to inquiries and assisting with IRS or state tax notices.QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Taxation is a plus.Certification: Active CPA license required.Skills: Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystems, or ProSystem fx) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Attributes: Strong analytical skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.What We OfferFlexibility: A true hybrid work schedule designed for professional autonomy.Total Rewards: Competitive salary between $110k-$145k (commensurate with experience) plus performance-based bonuses.Benefits
