We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, lead audits, and provide critical support in the areas of budgeting and cash management.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER – FAMILY OFFICE

• Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and internal controls.
• Approve and ensure proper coding of invoices
• Conduct thorough reviews of monthly financial activities.
• Ensure that financial periods are closed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements.
• Collaborate with entity Presidents to develop and finalize annual budgets.
• Lead and coordinate the audit process, liaising with external auditors.
• Actively monitor cash positions for several entities.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER - FAMILY OFFICE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, advanced degree a plus.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably some in a managerial role.
• Some public accounting experience highly preferred.
• Experience with family offices or HNW clients preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience managing audits and overseeing budgeting processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and entities.
• Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and positive culture in a matrixed team environment.
• Excellent Microsoft experience, including Excel and SharePoint.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems, Sage50 Accounting a plus.
• High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Friendly and adaptable team player.
• Highest level of honesty, confidentiality and integrity.

TARGET SALARY RANGE: $125,000 - $165,000. Benefits include, Medical, dental, 401k, vacation and other great benefits.
