Family Home Setting | Meaningful Work | Steady Hours We’re looking for a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join a supportive family home and make a real difference every day. If you’re patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others live their best lives, this could be a great fit. If you are allergic to cats, this position is not for you. Schedule • First & Second Shift (Negotiable!) • 32-40 hours per week (Full-Time) • Must remain awake during shifts Compensation • $18.00 – $19.00/hour, based on experience • Mileage reimbursement for errands and appointments Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking caregivers who are: • Experienced with Autism, Physical Limitations, and Adult Mental Health • Reliable, dependable, and professional • Patient and respectful of personal boundaries • Comfortable working in a family-home environment • Preferably older, experienced caregivers • Able to limit cell phone use to emergencies only while on shift Key Responsibilities Your role will include supporting both an adult male with Autism and a family member with physical limitations: • Assisting with personal care tasks (showering, toileting, hygiene) • Ensuring cleanliness and dignity after toileting • Teaching and reinforcing daily living skills • Supporting self-regulation techniques • Providing verbal encouragement and motivation • Assisting with laundry for the household • Meal prep and cooking • Light housekeeping and dishes • Grocery shopping, errands, and appointments This role is hands-on, meaningful, and centered on respect, patience, and consistency.
