Occupational Therapist Supervisor - Part Time

We’re hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist to serve as an Occupational Therapy Supervisor for a part-time outpatient program in Los Angeles, CA. This role provides clinical leadership, supervision, and program development support for a new specialized program serving veterans at the west LA VA campus. Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CA licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, with demonstrated proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred, ideally in transitional or permanent supportive housing or residential settings.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Experience with mental health services, preferably in a residential setting.
• Knowledge of substance abuse issues, therapeutic interventions, and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with Department of Mental Health documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to occupational therapists and support staff.
• Monitor quality of client care delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular case reviews, assessments, and audits to evaluate therapist performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with therapists to develop individualized treatment plans and interventions based on client needs and goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support therapist professional development.
• Identify training needs and coordinate continuing education programs to maintain licensure and certification requirements.
• Oversee scheduling, caseload management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
