Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: August 18, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend, 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Acute care emergency department with diverse case mix including conscious sedation, behavioral health, sepsis, stroke, and cardiac emergencies
• Participate in critical procedures including intubations, TPA administration for stroke patients, and heart alert protocols
• Electronic medical records system (Meditech) for streamlined documentation
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Collaborative team environment in a well-established facility serving a growing community
• Opportunity to work with multiple positions available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS required
• CEN certification preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills essential
• Meditech experience preferred
• Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
