Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Senior Electrical Designer to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects for our Woodland Hills office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in the design and drafting of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for federal/DOD, commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, multi-family, and/or high-rise facilities. Compensation and Benefits: Approximate Base Salary – $90k to $105k based on experience. Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance. Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change) 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution Qualifications Technical/Associate degree in engineering or related science (preferred) 7+ years of design and drafting experience Graduation from a certified CAD training program at an accredited institution counts as one year of experience Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Possess advanced drafting, BIM/Revit and layout skills Create REVIT families and AutoCAD blocks Experienced with the latest release of Autodesk AutoCAD and REVIT Performing design work without supervision. Knowledgeable with electrical calculations. Knowledgeable with Tile-24 calculations. Experienced in training entry level designers. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
