This role is designed for individuals gaining experience in Interventional Radiology or Invasive Cardiology or experienced imaging professionals seeking to begin a career in this discipline.\n Required Qualifications:\n \n Knowledge and skill in applying principles of medical imaging, patient positioning, and medical ethics.\n Understanding of anatomy and physiology associated with specialty imaging procedures.\n Ability to apply theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation.\n Consistent application of sterile field practices to ensure patient safety.\n Strong verbal and written communication skills.\n Ability to provide care appropriate to the age and patient populations served.\n Knowledge of and ability to apply HIPAA guidelines and standards.\n Ability to prioritize and complete clinical or non-clinical work assignments.\n Capability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.\n Effective communication and teamwork skills.\n Reliability in reporting to work as scheduled.\n Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.\n Accuracy in maintaining records and working with names, numbers, and codes.\n \n Required Education:\n \n Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science (e.g., cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI.\n Completion of JRCERT-accredited Military Educational Program accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.\n \n Required Certifications & Licensure:\n \n Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.\n ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.\n \n \n Integrated Healthcare Services Job ID #37643306.
