Serving at a location near Westland, MI, you’ll provide essential mental health services, crisis intervention, and support systems that empower students to thrive academically and personally.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Social Worker license (LMSW or equivalent preferred)
• Experience in a school-based setting strongly desired
• Familiarity with social-emotional learning, behavioral interventions, and special education processes
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and address student needs through counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans (IEPs, 504s)
• Foster family engagement and access to community resources for students facing challenges
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing program development
• Provide ongoing support for the Pure Renewal initiative, helping shape a nurturing, inclusive school climate for 2026/2027
