Kentucky LCSW Telehealth Therapist | Remote Clinical Social Work Position

Job Summary

A growing behavioral health team is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide remote therapy services to clients across Kentucky. The role centers on helping clients better understand their concerns, build healthier coping skills, and make progress toward practical treatment goals.

As a remote LCSW, you will meet with clients virtually, complete assessments, document care, and provide steady clinical support in a professional online setting. This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys focused therapy work without the daily demands of an in-person office environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled online therapy sessions with clients using a HIPAA-compliant platform
• Assess mental health concerns, psychosocial needs, symptoms, and risk factors
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are clear, realistic, and clinically appropriate
• Support clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, family conflict, stress, and adjustment issues
• Document sessions, treatment updates, client progress, and any clinical concerns in the EHR
• Provide referrals or care coordination recommendations when a higher level of support is needed
• Follow professional ethics, privacy standards, and Kentucky clinical social work regulations
• Maintain a consistent caseload and manage appointments with professionalism
• Participate in clinical communication or case consultation as needed
• Keep client care organized, timely, and aligned with internal quality standards

Requirements

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW license in Kentucky
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical counseling or therapy experience preferred
• Experience providing therapy to adults, families, couples, or diverse client populations
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and online documentation tools
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and time management
• Ability to work independently while following clinical and ethical guidelines
• Must have a private, professional remote workspace and reliable internet connection

Benefits

• $115,000–$120,000 per year
• Full-time remote position
• Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
