Capgemini is hiring an Onsite Senior Integration Engineer to work with a scrum team in an onshore-offshore delivery model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing cloud-native integration solutions using Camel Quarkus, Kafka, and Kubernetes while collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. 

Your Role

• Develop integration routes using Apache Camel and Camel Quarkus.
• Design Kafka-based integration flows and event-driven solutions.
• Build cloud-native microservices using Quarkus.
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes using Helm and Kustomize.
• Integrate enterprise systems including ERP, Oracle, SAP, and supply chain platforms.
• Implement integration patterns such as routing, aggregation, retries, and dead-letter handling.
• Develop and execute automated testing strategies.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, GitOps processes, and containerized deployments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize production integration platforms.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Work in a team covering business and technology with representatives from client to produce overall quality delivery. 

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 7 year of IT and 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration development.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Camel, preferably Camel Quarkus.
• Strong knowledge of Java and/or YAML DSL.
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs).
• Strong understanding of Quarkus fundamentals including CDI, configuration, health checks, and metrics.
• Experience designing Kafka topics, consumer groups, partitioning, retries, and dead-letter topics.
• Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes using ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Helm/Kustomize.
• Experience integrating with ERP, Oracle, SAP, and related enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of correlation IDs, idempotent receivers, batch processing, and distributed transactions.
• Experience with Quarkus/Camel testing frameworks, Testcontainers, and Kafka testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Docker, and Git.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Temporal.io or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
• Experience with Strimzi Kafka.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Loki, or ELK.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and production support.
• Experience collaborating with Platform Engineering and DevOps teams.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $73,150 to $174,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
