Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment needs.

• Provide individual and group therapy, specifically targeting issues such as trauma, substance abuse, anger management, and reentry planning.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities that align with each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions covering topics like relapse prevention, coping skills, and personal development.

• Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment delivery.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, risk assessments, and safety planning to address immediate mental health crises.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Work closely with other specialists and correctional staff as appropriate to enhance the well-being of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including those associated with incarceration or those needing outpatient rehabilitation services. Our clients may experience conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The counselor will play a pivotal role in addressing these complex issues and promoting an environment conducive to treatment and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) .

Compensation and Benefits\n
