Project Management Lead

We’re looking for someone with 10+ years of project or program management experience, ideally in manufacturing, capital equipment, automation, robotics, engineering, or machine tools. PMP certification is preferred or must be obtained within two years of hire. If you’re ready to lead a team, tackle complex technical projects, and make a real impact in the machine tool industry, we want to hear from you. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for: Leading the Project Management team - establish expectations, improve accountability, distribute workload, and mentor Project Managers. Overseeing complex projects - manage projects from order confirmation through completion, ensuring scope, technical requirements, deliverables, budgets, and timelines are clearly defined and maintained. Coordinating cross‑functional teams - bring together Sales, Applications, Purchasing, Service, Engineering, and our Germany headquarters to keep projects moving and ensure successful handoffs. Managing project resources and schedules - align internal resources, coordinate material planning and suppliers, monitor project capacity, and ensure installation readiness. Driving risk management - identify risks, bottlenecks, and potential execution issues early; establish issue tracking, escalation, scope control, and change management processes. Protecting project performance - monitor budgets, margins, schedules, contractual requirements, and overall project execution. Improving project processes - create consistent project tracking and reporting, improve timeline predictability, reduce lead times, and increase on‑time delivery. Serving as an escalation leader - provide direction and solutions when complex retrofit, technical, or cross‑functional project issues arise.
