What You Will Be Doing
- Thoroughly clean all kitchen ovens, sinks, freezers, coolers, griddles, and other restaurant equipment. Sanitize food service and preparation ware to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all storage areas, including the main freezer and cooler.
- Clean, transport, and store all pots and pans used in the food and beverage operation.
- Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment efficiently, ensuring that all materials are thoroughly cleaned in a timely manner.
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of the job, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain knowledge of the MSDS book for safe handling of chemicals and materials.
- Ensure that all trash cans are changed on a regular basis to maintain a clean environment.
- Wipe down tables, chairs, and walls to ensure a welcoming dining experience for our guests.
- Assist in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all food and beverage areas, following all safety guidelines and organizational policies.
- Assist in any other duties in the kitchen under the supervision of the Chef.
- All other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate For This Position
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Strong Food and Beverage product knowledge.
- Strong time management and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members is important.
- Will be required to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.
- Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.
