Senior Staff/Sourcing Analyst (BH-109259) Location: San Jose, United States Sector Manufacturing & Production Salary $50.00 to $55.00 per hour Sourcing Analyst / Associate Sourcing (Contract) Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 12-Month Contract to Start Client required only US Citizen / Green Card holder for this role Rate: $50-$55 About the Role We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Sourcing Analyst / Associate Sourcing professional to support sourcing and procurement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong supplier management and procurement analysis experience who is interested in growing into a Sourcing Manager position over time. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously, working cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers, leveraging data-driven insights, and supporting strategic procurement decisions. Key Responsibilities Support sourcing and procurement activities for technical equipment, custom-engineered products, systems, software, and components Launch and manage multiple RFQs/RFPs simultaneously while supporting strategic sourcing initiatives Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders Develop cost models and perform supplier and market analysis Build and maintain knowledge of: Technology trends Market dynamics Cost trends Supplier technology roadmaps Evaluate supplier performance and work with vendors to resolve delivery and quality issues Review purchase order claims and contracts for compliance with company policies Negotiate pricing, refunds, delivery schedules, and supplier agreements Present sourcing recommendations and procurement insights to stakeholders and leadership Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to drive sourcing initiatives and improve supplier performance Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, or related field Minimum 2+ years of relevant sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience Strong interest and demonstrated capability to grow into a Sourcing Manager role Required Skills & Experience Supplier selection and supplier performance management Procurement and sourcing experience RFQ / RFP execution Cost modeling and should-cost analysis Procurement analytics and reporting Strong data analysis skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple systems Experience working with ambiguous or complex datasets Ability to manage a high volume of sourcing projects in parallel Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Experience creating visual presentations and communicating data-driven insights Strong negotiation skills with supplier pricing, terms, and long-term agreements Experience leveraging AI tools/technology to support sourcing or procurement activities is a plus Preferred Background Experience sourcing for technical equipment, hardware, custom-engineered products, systems, software, or components Experience in a fast-paced technology or manufacturing environment Strong supplier relationship management and stakeholder communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr The Matlen Silver Group, Inc.
