Job Details:

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: Fishersville, VA

Setting: Psychiatric Hospital

Pay Range: 1939.00 - 2035.95

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: RN License; BLS; PALS; ACLS; 2 years current experience in Pediatric ICU; at least 1 travel assignment

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level II obstetrical and neonatal setting.
• Assist with procedures such as versions, IOL, cervical ripening, IUFD care, and bereavement.
• Support mother-baby couplet care, including border babies.
• Monitor and care for antepartum, postpartum, and antepartum patients.
• Assist in obstetric surgeries such as Cesarean Sections with appropriate staffing ratios.
• Manage observational triage patients and NICU clients based on condition.
• Float outside of specialty using general nursing skills to assist as needed.
