Embark on a rewarding contract position as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting near Cranston, RI. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing school-based OT services, with the opportunity to also engage in home health and broader healthcare environments. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, offering both part-time and full-time scheduling flexibility. The specific number of days per week and caseload will be determined to align with your strengths and preferences.

Key Qualifications:

• Active MA OT credential/certification required
• Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred
• Ability to adapt services for diverse K-12 student populations
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering students’ independence and participation in school activities

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students across the K-12 spectrum
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support educational goals
• Conduct assessments and provide direct and consultative OT services as indicated
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress
• Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet varied learning and developmental needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
